Appointment reaffirms dedication to advancing the aviation industry
ANN ARBOR, Mich. / March 19, 2025 / Aviation News—Avfuel is pleased to announce C.R. Sincock, II, executive vice president for Avfuel and president and CEO for sister company, Avflight, was appointed to the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Advisory Council for a three-year term. The initial appointment was effective December 2024.
The Advisory Council—a representative group of NBAA’s business members—advises NBAA’s Board of Directors on business member interests, government representation, industry programs, communication efforts and educational initiatives.
The appointment is a significant honor, reaffirming Sincock’s dedication to serving the aviation industry while leveraging his companies’ expertise for the greater good. Sincock’s robust background provides a unique perspective as he works to advance NBAA’s mission of promoting operational excellence, increasing safety standards and promoting sustainability within the industry.

As a member of Avfuel’s executive team, Sincock focuses on next-generation aviation technologies, including strategic partnerships across the spectrum of sustainable aviation fuel pathways, as well as hybrid-electric power solutions. He spearheaded the development of AvfuelZero, the company’s consultative arm for sustainable aviation operations, as well as a book-and-claim program aimed at broadening access to SAF. His background at the energy desk at QVT Financial LP, a multi-strategy hedge fund based in New York City, lends to his financial mindset and experience. Outside the energy sector, Sincock is the founding investor and senior strategic advisor at Kriya Therapeutics, a leading gene therapy company developing long-term cures for diabetes, blindness and other chronic diseases.
Along with an undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Sincock also completed a master’s degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.
