ROSS AVIATION ACQUIRES THE OLIPHANT HANGAR AT THE JACQUELINE COCHRAN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (KTRM)
Ross Aviation announces it acquired the Oliphant hangar at Jacqueline Cochran Municipal Airport (KTRM) in Thermal, California.
The hangar, which was constructed in 2014 by local businessman and aviation enthusiast Richard Oliphant, features 26,000 square feet of hangar space and is large enough to accommodate the largest of today’s long range business jets. Conveniently, the hangar is immediately adjacent to Ross Aviation’s executive terminal.
In addition to the hangar, Ross Aviation has executed a long-term lease with the Airport Authority for an additional 2 acres of ramp space immediately adjacent to, and in front of, the new hangar.
“The acquisition of the hangar and leasing of the additional ramp space will allow us to better serve our customers that visit Thermal in the very busy winter season” said Ross Aviation Chief Operating Officer, Cy Farmer.
Ross Aviation’s executive team brings more than 100 years of experience to each of its seven locations, partnering with trusted local management at every FBO. Ross Aviation is well known for its superior customer service, with a particular emphasis on a philosophy that embraces the uniqueness of each airport and FBO market. The company also firmly supports a decentralized system whereby managers are granted the authority and responsibility to operate and optimize their business based upon the unique circumstances of each location.
